On July 17, 2023, Sean was walking along a Hinsdale sidewalk when he was killed by a vehicle. Sean’s death was a tragedy that should not have happened.  Sean was a healthy fourteen year-old with a bright future ahead of him; someone who loved and was loved. The world lost someone truly special that day.

What made Sean special was his obvious love and respect for everyone around him. Sean was an extraordinary person full of love, life, joy, and promise. He always found the best in others and never said anything bad about anyone.

We established Love Like Sean Foundation to honor Sean. Sean was beloved by all who knew him and since his time on earth was much too short, we want to create a platform to spread and carry on his spirit and his love for others.

Our guiding principle is right there in our name – it is to Love Like Sean and to encourage others to do the same.

To that end, we will try to carry on Sean’s work of spreading joy and love in this world.
